End of School Petting Zoo

See! I told you I'd do the next post right away so you wouldn't miss a thing. A petting zoo came to school today! My favorite animal was definitely the bunny rabbit.
{You know I have a bunny rabbit that sleeps with me.}

My best cheesy grin!

Playing with the bunny's ears. We weren't supposed to touch the head but I couldn't stop myself.

Hey! There's my hand petting a CHICKEN.

Mommy really wanted me to touch the fluffy black chicken but after checking out all the chickens I think that little one I already touched was the best one.

Mommy gave me the {brand new & TOUGH} little camera so I could take some pictures of my friends.

There's all of us! And the goat.

Walking the goat.

He didn't do much...

...so right after this photo I dropped the leash and wandered away.

I had to get some more time with that bunny!

Miss Andria is so nice!

I ran onto the playground I wasn't supposed to go onto even though everyone was saying "KNOX! GEAT BACK HERE!", but one other guy at thought it was a good idea.

All lined up to go inside.

Off we go!
{Do you see me? I managed to hitch a ride!}

Last Day of School

Today was my LAST DAY of school (for the summer) at First Baptist Parent's Day Out. I've been going every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-2 since August and only missed TWO days the whole year (I think) when I as out of town the first week in January. I am REALLY REALLY REALLY going to miss my awesome teacher Miss Andria. And I'll miss my school friends. Hopefully I'll get to see them some over the summer and LOTS of them will be in my class next year! That's right- I'll be back in the fall!

We did so many fun things this year. Everyday we went to the gym to RUN like crazy first thing in the morning and in the afternoon we got to go to the playground. I brought home tons of artwork (Mommy kept ALL of it <-- crazy lady!) and made some super cool friends. Pretty much every day (especially this spring) I brought my car friends along also. I really didn't want those guys to miss out on the fun. I tried to always bring two so that I could share with Kacen and I was SO good with keeping up with my cars all day long. Now to the good stuff... pictures!

Before I show you how big (and handsome) I am NOW, here's a reminder of what I looked like in August on the FIRST day of school.

Pay special attention to my hair!

Before I brought car friends I always brought my Pokey Puppy or my Green Frog. A few times I even tried to bring my LION but Mommy wouldn't let him get out of the car. I think Lion would have liked school.

HEY! There's Frog!

Ta Daaaaa!!!! Here I am today!

Mommy LOVES this picture. I kind of love it too :)

And there's some cars! That Raul and Jeff and Shu and "Wight Queen".

Hugs from Miss Andria when I brought her a present.

I was SO excited to bring in presents for everyone today. I carried them ALL the way to the classroom and then showed the bag to each of my friends and told them, "I get you a present!?!"

The BEST teacher!!! I love Miss Andria!

So. Since we also had a petting zoo today AND a party there's just going to have to be another last day of school post. I ALWAYS say this and then don't follow up, so this time I am going to get started on them right away!

Easter Overload! (day one)

So I discovered that Easter is an especially fun holiday because you can celebrate it for lots of days! All you need to celebrate are friends and eggs. Colorful eggs filled with candy. Chooooock-iiiit. (chocolate) But say it like I do where you drag out the beginning of the word and then talk in a deeper than normal voice because we  really love chocolate.

My first Easter day was at school. It was so fun because all my friends were there! (and Mommy and Daddy showed up too!)

I found a starting line.
Ready...
Set....

GO!!!!!

I was the FIRST ONE to the eggs. But then I made a rookie mistake and was choosy about which eggs I actually wanted to pick up. So I passed up a ton. Then I took some I thought I didn't want out of my basket.

It all worked out though because we shared our eggs in the end so everyone got the same ones :)

My class! That's Kacen, Ashlan, Katelyn, Naomi, ME, and Lainie :)

After the egg hunting we still had time to paint.

And the other side of the room.

I like It Outside!

I love being outside! This is what we do almost every evening (and in the morning and the afternoon). Actually pretty much we do this whenever I want because I am a master door opener and un-locker so every time Mommy hears the alarm go "beep!beep!" she has to run out in the backyard. And it's pretty tough to get me inside. I mean I am big and strong and good at flailing and screaming when I don't want to go somewhere. So basically we are outside a lot. Good thing for the cats because I know they want to hang out with me but they also want to be outside. This way we get to hang out together lots of the time.
{Oh! And be sure and check out my hat! I made it at school. I had to teach
some of the others that you wear your hat "on top of your head".}

Tonight Homer and I played together.
See here we are wrestling. Or hugging. Or playing "catch you!".

I thought we should jam together for awhile.
"Ready Homer?"

Music and singing...

...and there's the dance moves!

 After that I did some spying on Homer. And I could see Daddy and Mommy!

{I REALLY like having my fingers and toes painted!}

Part of the summer garden. I helped Daddy plant squash and peppers and onions and
all kinds of other stuff not in this picture. (tomatoes, herbs, cantaloupe...)

Batter up!

BEANS!!!

So one of my current FAVORITE things to do is PLAY BEANS!!! I will play beans any time. Daytime, nighttime, midnight time, 3 in the morning when I wake up in the middle of the night and feel like playing.... It's so fun. Mommy gave me these bowls and spoons and different beans and pastas and we just pour them back and forth and stir and make soup. Then we pretend to eat the soup. "Mmmmmm it is so good!" ANd we always play beans on my magic carpet. That's the blue blanket. The magic carpet is cool because it keeps our mess in one spot so we can just go crazy with the beans! (It's also good for indoor picnics.)

Knox Says

So Knox is talking a LOT now. Here are some of the latest great quotes.

-I found him in his room one day on the bed underneath his giant lion (pretty sure he considers that thing his best friend) and asked "You just hanging out in here?" Knox: "No. I doing my lion."

-Leaving the park last week he pointed out the window and goes "That hippo!" I asked him what hippo since they don't tend to hang out at the local parks in Corpus and he told me "That hippo go home to get in the water at the beach."

-His bath toy holding frog fell off the wall and Chris put it out in the hallway. When Knox came across it he said "Charge the frog! Charge the frog, Mommy! It died." I think someone uses too many electronics.

-And we just love that he calls his new T-Rex dinosaur "T-Wreckus".

He also constantly sings the ABC's. His version: "A-B-C-D-F-G-H-J-O-P-Q-R-S-X-Y-Z... Now I. A-B-C......" And he LOVES counting to 18. 1-12 he's got down then he usually skips to 16, 17, 18 and will repeat "17, 18, 17, 18..." until you get him to start over.

And his other favorite song is the "Itsy Spider" although he says it so not like that actual words he has to repeat himself several times before I realize what he is asking for .

And here's some pictures. I took him to the park for a fantasy picnic with his Yo Gabba Gabba friends, Big Frog, and a bunch of Skittles. He decided he need a picture with each friend he brought. And then the afternoon before Valentine's we painted with heart sponges and hot wheels. He was pretty tired at the end of a no nap Monday. Sorry about the watermark, apparently I didn't export them from the photo program blank.
