With Silver Bells and Cockle Shells...

This Saturday I watched while Momma and Daddy prepared our yard for the spring garden. Actually it was mostly Momma and I watching Daddy do the yard work because who wants to sit on a picnic blanket all alone? I didn't! We have the best smelling yard on the block now. Daddy got free mulch from the dump and it was the recycled Christmas trees! So we took out the broccoli plants that had gone crazy with flowers and were making our friendly bees very happy and prepared to replace them with squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, and green bell peppers. We also got dill, basil, sage, thyme, oregano, and mint. Assuming there is produce to report on I will keep you updated!

Yep, they're all there.

It's a balancing act. I am trying to demonstrate this for the kitties. They are not paying attention and that's why they need all four legs.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Just chillin' in the tub. Check out my scrawny arms!

You can see my teeth! I had just one, but the other day its partner decided to make an appearance.

My Menu is Growing Faster Than Me

I have failed to mention my recent experiences with food since my not so great time with the rice cereal. I thought (maybe) I could learn to like it if that was all I was ever going to get but it really is not very good. Momma discovered that I had really not been enjoying the cereal when she saw me with a new food and learned that 'yes I can eat properly but it is hard to use good manners when someone is shoving something gross in your mouth'. From what I hear, the rc is mixed in with several of my other meals, but I can't taste it so I pretend it isn't there. A list:
Butternut squash
Prunes
Sweet potato
Carrots
Green Zucchinni
Turkey in gravy
Banana
Pears

Now a note on Momma. She is making almost all my food (not the meat because that is just gross) and she is a crazy hoarder. I am pretty sure Momma could feed me for a month or more on all the little colorful frozen cubes in the freezer, yet she continues to steam and puree and freeze.....

Message from Momma: It is hard to get Knox to smile when I am hiding behind the camera, so even though I can use the LCD screen hardly any of the smiley pictures are well centered. We are going to call this error an artistic effect.

Happy Heart Day!

My first Valentine's Day comes only 12 days after my first Groundhog Day, the excitement around here is endless! Momma couldn't find a groundhog or even just a marmot to take my picture with on the second and so far hasn't subjected me to any girly heart photos so I am feeling pretty lucky. We played on a rug in the driveway today in the sun and Daddy let me touch lots of different plants. I like it outside. Oh and Momma got me a new video for Valentine's and Gma got me a chair for the bathtub. I am pretty stoked about the new bathing experience, but Momma says I am too small to use it. Happy Valentine's Day!

Oh, and I hear Presidents Day is tomorrow, but I am pretty sure Momma won't be able to get ahold of one of those dudes for a picture. Haha Momma :)

Chomp

Last Friday we were getting ready to cut and run from Corpus for the weekend, but I wanted dinner before we left. Momma was way too slow so I was yelling at her to get a move on- I had people to see! Anyway, Daddy stuck his finger in my mouth-- he tends to do this thinking it can shut me up. Unfortunately, it works. I know, stupid me for sucking on a finger, but it only takes a second (or three) before I realize his finger tastes weird. Well Friday I was not going to be tricked. He stuck his finger in my mouth and I BIT HIM! Hahaha! Then Daddy was the one screaming. That actually scared me for a second and I stopped yelling. You see, what Daddy didn't know is that I am growing a tooth. And that sucker is sharp.

Momma called the doctor and the doctor said....

Well, Momma actually drove me to the doctor and the she said, "I look perfect." :)
I mean I already knew I was perfect, but nice to have confirmation from an unbiased third party every once in awhile. I have beefed up to 13 lb 6 oz (1 percentile) and 26.5 inches (50th percentile) and for anyone interested my 43 cm circumferenced (I am a baby I can make up words if I want) head is the 25th percent. After all the talking that amounted to the doc saying sorry guys he's (meaning me and seriously I was RIGHT THERE) hard headed and a crappy sleeper- good luck. Well gee, maybe I just miss Momma at night, I mean she is ALL THE WAY across the house. Then I do get to see Momma and Daddy again and I am happy and drift sweetly back to sleep like the angel that I am.... and WHAT THE HECK? I wake up to find myself ALONE. in bed. no Momma. or Daddy. Ugh, when will they learn? Other than that I got some shots, drank some liquid, and came home to eat butternut squash. First time. Momma made it extra special just for me and it was gooooood. A pretty decent day overall.
